| Coming from Richmond | Follow the Bells Line of Road through Bell, and past the Zig Zag Railway at Clarence. Approximately 10km past the Zig Zag Railway you will descend into the Lithgow Valley via Scenic Hill. The Zig Zag Motel is located on your right, approximately 1km from the foot of the hill.

| Coming from Katoomba | Enter Lithgow as you travel west along the Great Western Highway. Turn right into Main St at McDonalds corner. Turn right at the first traffic lights, and then a quick left onto Mort St. Follow this street for approximately 2kms. Follow the road around a dogleg bend. The Zig Zag Motel will be on your left at the intersection of Chifley Road and Clwydd St's.
